Reason Why You Have So Much FAT

Let us first understand, why you are overweight and have so much fat.

Starting with basics, the body runs on 2 things – energy and nutrients. Energy is used to work and complete tasks and is provided by fats, carbohydrates, and proteins.

Nutrients, on the other hand, are building blocks which provide manufacture, provide working efficiency, and maintenance of body parts such as hair, eyes, bones, skin etc.

To get energy and nutrients, we eat food. The quality of food we eat dictates how good or bad (healthy, fit, slim or unhealthy, unfit, overweight) the body is going to be in future.

One may say I eat clean, freshly cooked food and it is high quality, but this may not be so. I’ll get to this in a minute.

We eat food mostly for energy, to enable us to do our work. Everyone has a different energy demand that is unique depending on their lifestyle, amount of physical activity, gender, and age.

It is always a good idea to eat about 30% less than needed. Most people tend to overestimate their hunger by 1.5 to 2 times.

Most people thus eat a lot more than they need. This causes the body to store the extra energy available.

This extra energy available is stored as fats. No matter whatever the energy source might be fats, carbohydrates or proteins, the extra energy available is always stored as fats.

These fats pile up in the body over time and so we tend to look fat.

Over longer periods of time, these fats tend to become stubborn fat and are even harder to get rid of.

To summarize a person becomes fat is because they have eaten a lot more than they needed and the body converts extra energy into fat which piles up.

Permanent Weight Loss Needs Change In Lifestyle & Eating Habits

One of the most important things I personally learned after managing losing weight is a permanent lifestyle change. By this I mean you have to be always careful about the food that you eat, how much you eat when you eat and so forth.

There are other things that matter too. For instance, I realized on days I slept on time, I ate better food and in less quantity than on days when I was sleep deprived. Also, Late night snacking is a big no-no.

Like life in general, all the days are not equal. Some days are better, some are average, and some are not so good. This happens in the way we eat too. Moods tend to affect food intake. Some days you may eat more, some days you eat less. Sometimes you may also end up giving in to a craving.

A bad day when you have eaten more or may have eaten fast food or junk food doesn’t mean all is lost. You compensate the next 2 days by eating 20% less. The idea is to maintain an average.

Most of us generally eat 2 times, we tend to stuff in food so we have ample energy. This needs to change totally. As discussed above in my weight loss tips, break down the 2-3 meals into 5-6 smaller meals. A big change for some, but worth the effort.

Count calories of every food item you eat. This ensures you never go overboard. If you have weight to lose, start with a 650-800 calorie diet, which you can increase to 1200-1500 calories once you have lost enough weight.

Last but not the least is an exercise regime. Hit the gym, build some muscles. Muscles always burn more fat and calories and help to stay slim. I personally visit the gym for not more than 30-35 minutes every day.

Also, walking is really a great option. If you can walk for 20 minutes in the morning and evening. There’s nothing like it. But it all depends on your personal life and work-life balance. Those who love their body enough always find time for exercise and remove activities that are wasteful.

How To Lose 20 Pounds In 2 Weeks is an interesting question. Most of the people would say this is not possible, however, it certainly is. Given the determination, patience and the right method with perfect calculation, it certainly is well beyond possible. It is in fact easy.

The easiest way to do it is through a combination of right diet and light exercise. With a diet that is stomach filling but very low in calories, we can create a negative calorie situation. This forces the body to complete the energy deficit by extracting the energy from its storage.
